Anthony's Restaurant and Lounge is one of those places just waiting to be discovered by the hipsters Downtown. It gets quiet in the neighborhood after 6PM, and there's no better way to spend the time before the dancing starts than eating a big plate of pasta and enjoying a few drinks at Anthony's Restaurant and Lounge. While you wine and dine, you'll be crooned to by the house lounge singer, who does a pretty good rendition of classic Frank and Dean. -- Kate Cagley

FINE DINING,LUNCH,or DINNER
Always a great place to eat,Italian Steak sandwich,Fries,and a side of Spagetti for lunch.Just hard to beat.And if your from the old neighborhood,you'll always run into someone you know..GO THERE !! EAT!! ENJOY... Charlie T.

Absolutely the best restaurant in Kansas City.. The food is to die for and the service could not be better.. They'll treat ya as if they've known ya for years.. I highly recommend this place to everyone I know.. The tiramisu is excellent!! Again,,This is absolutely in my opinion the BEST restaurant in town!!
Food Poisoning
I went to Anthony's with a friend of mine for dinner last night and we both ended up with food poisoning and did not go into work today. We ordered 2 different meals and did not share or order appetizers. I had the egg plant and he had the italian sausage, so it must've been bad marinara sauce. We will never go there again.
Authentic
Anthony's is my new favorite Italian restaurant. relaxing atmosphere, great food!- their house dressing is awesome, good house wine, great experience very time I've gone!
