Greenwoods is Comfort food with a Southern gourmet twist
Won't take reservations but can reserve a duck- they go FAST. Crispy and tender, I like the sauce on the side. Decent wines by the glass or bottle. The best greens on the planet. Not stringy, but tender leaves with just the right amount of garlic, broccoli caserole topped with fried onions, trout with a beurre blanc sauce makes you feel like you behaved enough to indulge in a slice of pie.(about one forth of a pie !) But difficult to decide on blackberry, apple, chocolate, lemon merangue-oh my- going tomorrow fo lunch ! Happy Birthday to me ! More Reviews
Enjoyed it Thoroughly!!
We went as a foursome to the Peachtree location and had a great time!! The waiter was efficient, the menu diverse, and the atmosphere was very European...a REAL triple threat!! We each ordered something different, but the Shrimp Scampi was ONE OF THE BEST I'VE EVER HAD...AND MY HUSBAND & I BOTH GRADUATED FROM CULINARY SCHOOL!! Flavorful and not greasy, with a touch of rosemary was exquisite!! Overall, a great value.
P. S. We were on our way to Church afterwards and I left my sweater...and the waiter chased us down the block to get it to me!! What a treasure in the middle of the city!! More Reviews
Hunan is gormet
Every time I am in Atlanta I make a beeline for this restaurant as it is my long time favorite. They have linen napkins and a menu that is extensive as if you want Thai they have that as well as Chinese. The family is close to the community and a lot of Seniors eat there so it is well known to Sandy Spring people. More Reviews
